Better Bones Coffee Meet-Up: What Actually Improves Bone Density

Serve yourself a cup of coffee and join us for the first Better Bones Coffee Meet-Up—a free educational workshop series focused on helping adults/seniors stay strong, active, and independent through better movement, bone health, and healthy aging.

This month we're discussing a question many people ask after being diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis:

What actually improves bone density?

There is a lot of confusing information surrounding bone health and exercise. Many people are told to simply walk more or avoid certain movements altogether, but what does the research actually say? During this workshop, we'll simplify the science and discuss practical exercise strategies that can help support stronger bones, improve confidence, and promote long-term health.

During this workshop, we'll cover:

  • Common myths surrounding osteoporosis, exercise, and bone density

  • Why walking and light exercise alone may not be enough

  • What "loading" means and how bones respond to exercise

  • Demonstrations of movements and exercises that help stimulate bone

Whether you've been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis, have concerns about bone health, or simply want to learn how to stay strong as you age, this workshop is designed for you.

No workout clothes are required and no exercise experience is necessary. Just bring your questions, enjoy a cup of coffee, and leave with practical information you can begin using right away.

Space is limited and registration is required. Reserve your spot today.

Next month's Better Bones Coffee Meet-Up topic coming soon.

Rebuild strength, reconnect with your core, and feel confident in your body again.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your core, unsure where to start, or like your body just doesn’t move or feel the way it used to—this workshop is designed for you. Whether you’re postpartum or simply looking for a smarter, more supportive approach to building strength, Reconnect & Rebuild will help you better understand your body and take the first step forward with confidence.

This experience is intentionally designed to be welcoming, educational, and empowering—no matter your starting point. You’ll be guided through both learning and movement so you can not only understand what your body needs, but actually feel the difference.

This workshop is ideal for:

  • Postpartum women looking to safely rebuild strength

  • Women experiencing core weakness, instability, or disconnection

  • Anyone wanting a supportive, non-intimidating environment to improve how they move and feel

During the workshop, you’ll learn how your core and pelvic floor truly function together, along with simple, effective strategies to support strength and stability in everyday life. We’ll cover:

  • How breathing plays a key role in core strength and control

  • Foundational pelvic floor and core connection

  • Safe, effective movement patterns that meet you where you are

  • How to rebuild strength without overdoing it or risking injury

You’ll then transition into a guided, learn-by-doing movement session where everything is applied in a way that is scalable, approachable, and immediately beneficial. Expect a supportive, no-judgment environment where you can move at your own pace and feel comfortable asking questions.

The Missing Link Workshop: Mobility for Active Adults

If you lift, run, golf, play pickleball, or stay active—but constantly feel tight, stiff, or a step behind your body…

You’re not alone.

Most active adults stay consistent with the activities they enjoy—but skip the one thing that actually keeps their body feeling good:

👉 Targeted mobility and movement work

Over time, that gap leads to:

  • Lingering aches and pains

  • Limited range of motion

  • Feeling “off” during workouts or sports

This Workshop Is Designed to Fix That

The Missing Link Workshop is a small-group, hands-on session where you’ll learn how to improve mobility, reduce stress on your joints, and move more efficiently—so you can keep doing what you love without feeling restricted by your body.

You won’t just learn—you’ll experience the difference immediately through guided movement and coaching.

What You’ll Walk Away With

  1. A simple mobility routine you can use before or after workouts

  2. Key drills to improve mobility in your hips, shoulders, and spine

  3. Strategies to reduce aches without cutting back your activity

  4. Immediate improvements in how your body moves and feels

Who This Is For

This workshop is ideal for adults who:

  • Lift weights, run, golf, or participate in recreational sports

  • Feel tight, stiff, or limited in their movement

  • Deal with recurring aches or “nagging” issues

  • Want to improve performance without adding more workouts

  • Know they should work on mobility—but aren’t sure where to start

Meet Your Coach

This workshop is led by Julie Dieterman, a mobility and movement specialist at Pure Movement. Julie helps active adults improve flexibility, movement quality, and long-term performance through a thoughtful, personalized approach. Her sessions combine practical mobility work with guided movement to help clients feel and move better right away.

⚠️ Limited Spots Available
